Gifts & Pledges

Donate

Thank you for considering a contribution to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Danville Area (BGCDA).   Your investment helps hundreds of young people across our community build bright futures as members of our Clubs. Together, we can make our community a better place to live today and tomorrow. To donate by check, please make your check payable to:

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Danville Area
123 Foster Street
Danville, Virginia  24541

BGCDA welcomes your gift through a pledge - a formal statement of intention to make a gift to the organization.  With a pledge, you may complete your gift by making regular payments over time.  Each payment on your pledge is eligible for an income-tax charitable deduction.

Sponsorships & Partnerships

Event and/or program sponsorship is an excellent way to enhance your company's visibility in the community while inventing in the future of young people.  Businesses may sponsor events, underwrite programs or provide in-kind services.  Boys & Girls Clubs of the Danville Area offer various tiers of sponsorship recognition, all with marketing benefits.  Contact us to explore partnership opportunities.

Securities, Stocks & Planned Gifts

Making a gift of Appreciated Securities/Stock to BGCDA such as stocks, mutual fund shares, or other appreciated assets can be a great tax-efficient donation method. In most instances, you can take a tax deduction for the full market value of the gift and avoid any capital gains tax.   By developing a thorough estate plan with your financial advisor or attorney, you can reduce the overall tax burden of your estate while providing a lasting legacy for youth in Danville & Pittsylvania County. We welcome the opportunity to provide additional information or discuss the many options available with you and your financial advisor.  The BGCDA staff will work closely and confidentially with you and your financial advisers to ensure that your gift achieves your individual goals and expresses your personal vision for our organization.

BGCDA currently works with Jim Abercrombie at Edward Jones. Jim and his team are ready to assist you today!
